A beautifully simple vintage wooden brooch with a long, sweeping curved silhouette and layered three-tone wood construction. Contrasting dark brown, warm golden and lighter natural wood tones have been arranged in flowing tapered bands, creating an almost sculptural, flame-like design.
At only 5g despite its 7cm length, it has plenty of visual presence without being heavy on clothing. I particularly like this one — the combination of natural materials and strong asymmetric geometry gives it a very convincing mid-century modernist feel.
