An unusual pair of vintage cufflinks featuring raised palm trees and small figural scenes against deep black enamel. The figures appear beneath the palms carrying or supporting an object between them, giving the design a distinctive Egyptian Revival or North African inspired character.
The square fronts have textured borders and an aged silver finish, paired with traditional bullet-back fittings. The decorative fronts produced a positive surface reaction when tested for silver; as the cufflinks are unmarked, we have conservatively described them as silver plated rather than solid silver.
